Indian Wells
I am the person with the silly face 🤪 emoji, holding the oversized tennis ball and wearing the awkward helmet (FYI the helmet is a deflated oversized tennis ball that I borrowed from the guy wearing a red T-shirt). We are at Indian Wells to watch pros play tennis. When I arrived, it was on Friday (yay! I get to skip school) and my parents and I went to watch tennis without my friends (everyone in this photo but me). We mainly watched Wu Yi Bing play (he was daddy’s favorite player). In mid match, it suddenly rained, so we had to find shelter and wait two hours for the match to continue. After the match, daddy and I left sadly, since Wu Yi Bing lost. Then we returned to the Airbnb, I had to live in the same Airbnb with all this guys in the photo. The next day I went to Indian Wells with my friends. It was super crowded. But at least we got to watch Emma Radukanu. The two taller happy faced guys went to watch on their own, while the rest of us stick together and tried not to get lost. On the third day, the shorter boy and I (he’s older than me. I’m the youngest) went to Joshua Tree with my other friend from LA. It was super boring. All we did was climb rocks. Though we saw a giant lizard called Chuckwalla. When we came back to the Airbnb, the boy who went with me told everyone about the giant lizard (though he forgot the name. But he remembers everything! Even the Wi-Fi password!) so he made up a bunch of names including [chihuahua], [capybara], [guacamole] and even [conquistador]! I told him it was Chuckwalla but he didn’t believe me! Until mama googled it. On Monday, we had to leave 😢.
